What is xCloud?
Microsoft Project xCloud is a gaming cloud service which brings gaming right to your mobile or tablet. It doesn't require you to have any high tech systems. Your android phone or tablet with version 6.0 or higher is more than enough.
This service is done via data centres running across countries which host games on Microsoft servers. In short, You're playing a game on a server and using your internet connection to stream it. Devices
You're going to need an android mobile device or tablet to start with. Wondering why IOS is not available? Well, due to a policy issue with App store where game titles require reviewing, xCloud on IOS is still under review. Watch out! xCloud may launch on IOS in 2021.
So you got an android device with android version 6.0 or above, what's next?

Subscription
Now you got the hardware, its time to opt into Microsoft Xbox services. The game titles which are available for you on xCloud are given off the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership subscription.
This subscription allows you to access over 3500 game titles, play online with friends and stream content as you please. However, the best part is, you only need one account and one subscription to freely play on your Xbox console, mobile device and PC. The xCloud subscription is attached to your user account which can be accessed from multiple devices.

It is important to mention that the battery life of your device will vary depending on factors such as network connection, device model and the duration of the game. So I wouldn't have a high expectation on long battery life while playing a cloud service game.
